Further encouragement

I recieved this email late last night from a client who used to spend nights on the couch, instead of in bed with her new husband, writhing in pain from her period.  We did a few sessions close together, in the beginning, but now just once a month keeps the pain away.  Needless-to-say, I was blessed by her words of encouragement.  I share them with those of you who suffer every month with the hopes that you'll give BodyTalk a try like this young woman did.  WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOOSE?
Dawn
Thank You Dawn!

You are always in my prayers because you are so special! I don't know how you can handle all the stuff in peoples lives! YOU are AWESOME! Keep up the good work! I think you are able to minister to people who were sexually abused since you know what it is like. I can't imagine that! You are an amazingly strong person! Love you! and talk to you on Monday!

BETAR Sleep

This beautiful pansy card came a while back from my special friend, but I haven't shared it yet.  Seeing as I'm trying to be a more frequent poster on this blog, I decided to share this quickly.  Can you see why it made my day both when I received it and when I found it again while I was cleaning off my computer desk today?

Best wishes for a wonderful Sabbath rest,

Dawn

Dear Dawn,

Thank you for the great sessions.  I am including a check for 2 sessions and also for a sleep machine for X & Y's anniversary gift.  You can just mail it to their address when you get one.  Thanks!

Love,

K

I am praying for you dear, beautiful lady.

So not perfect

Anyone who knows me well knows how I struggle with procrastination.  The thinking goes like this, "Well, I don't have time to do that perfectly now, so I'll just do it later."  Then, as you all know, it doesn't get done at all.

That's how I feel about posting on this blog.  There is so much that I want to say about each client's growth and progress that it seems insurmountable to do it justice.  Therefore, I don't do it at all.  Well, I got a note in the mail that I just HAVE to share with you so, please forgive the imperfect presentation.

I've been working with a young man about 24 years old who had surgery at age 5.  He never recovered but didn't realize that this is what was holding him back in life in numerous ways.  He started sessions with me in '09 and then quit for some reason.  Then a few months ago he called and was desparate.  To me, that slight tinge of "Wishing I was dead" made me take it seriously and I worked him in that evening.

He's had 3 sessions close together now and is doing so much better already.  He said during his lasts session, "Why does BodyTalk work so well in comparison to other modalities?"

I explained that the brain knows exactly what the body needs done to correct ANY problem--physical or emotional.  Stress weakens the communication between the brain and the body, though, and then things remain uncorrected.  In a BT session, I tune into what the body is needing the brain to know about it's condition.  By tapping this information into the brain and heart, I let the brain know what's going on with the body and then the brain gets to work repairing the damage.  It's that simple.

Anyway, this young man's mom sent me a $200 check with a note that said, "Thanks for helping my son.  XXXXX"  As you can guess, the note means more to me than the check.  However, I am learning to appreciate making the money that I need to continue my education; pay my office rent; and buy my needed health and beauty care items.  It truly IS nice to know how to take care of myself and it's a total delight to see other's learn how to do so as well.  Praise the Lord for all that He has taught me of His healing ways!

Back to work,

Dawn
